Curug Cimahi, Bandung City

Curug Cimahi (Cimahi waterfall) is one of the highest waterfall in Bandung and surrounding areas. Located approximately 10 kilometers from the town of Cimahi in the direction to Lembang or 20 km from Bandung, the capital of West Java province.
 
The entrance gate to the site is located at Kolonel Masturi street,  next to Cisarua transportation terminal  (terminal angkot Cisarua). There are several alternative paths that can be chosen to reach this waterfall. Most used is the path through Cihanjuang and Parongpong Cimahi and Lembang path.

We can use public transport from city of Cimahi from Terminal Pasar Atas taking Cimahi-Cisarua route with rates ranging from IDR 5000 (USD 0.52)
From Bandung, could use Angkot (minivan public transport) route St.Hall-Lembang and at Jalan Raya Bandung- Lembang change to take a other minivan, route Lembang-Cisarua, and stop right in front of the gate of Curug Cimahi.

The entrance ticket is IDR 3000, - (USD 0.31) per person. Open every day from 8:00 to 18:00 pm.
Where there are trees, many tourist with snack, then there are monkeys.
To reach the site, we had to descend 588 steps. Though quite far, but it pays off with the beautiful scenery that can be viewed.
In the waterfall area  we can watch splashing waterfall that fell from the cliffs as high as 85 meters.There are many Bus or travel service to Bandung from Jakarta. Cheap rate hotel also available in Bandung or Lembang near to Curug Cimahi
